My Recovery Coach offers NDIS psychosocial recovery coaching and support coordination to NDIS participants. We are based on the Northern Beaches of NSW and provide support primarily on the Northern Beaches, North Shore up to Hornsby.

Services
Support Coordination
What is Support Coordination?
During your initial meeting, your support coordinator will unpack your NDIS plan, then discuss your goals and how you would like to achieve these goals. We will then establish and implement wrap-around support. Throughout the course of your NDIS plan, we will regularly check in and ensure these supports are working for you.
At the end of your plan period, your support coordinator will assist you with your plan review and attend your plan meeting (if you prefer).
What is Capacity Building?
Capacity building is a process in which you learn skills, including but not limited to problem solving, negotiation, carrying out daily tasks, understanding and managing your NDIS plan. It is a journey of becoming a more independent and empowered you!
Can I be in control of my own support?
Yes, choice and control is an important aspect of everyone’s life. Within the budget and the scope of your NDIS funding, you will have a choice of which service you would like to access.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
What is Psychosocial Recovery Coaching?
Psychosocial recovery coach, or recovery coach, works collaboratively with you to build capacity, resilience and informed decision making skills.
Through recovery coaching, you will be supported to gain independence in many aspects of your life, confidence in managing your daily tasks and build healthy relationship with people around you.
How Can Psychosocial Recovery Coaching help me?
Firstly, your recovery coach will help you explore your values and strengths, as well as any barriers you are experiencing. Together with your coach, you will then set achievable goals and decide how to work towards achieving them.
Can I be in control of my own support?
Yes, choice and control is the essence to achieving your NDIS goals and to living a meaningful life. You will be involved in all directions of supports and your coach will periodically check in with you about how you are travelling.
